Chingaza National Park is truely one of the most fascinating places on the planet. Located less than 2 hours from the city, the park takes up 76,600 hectares and supplies roughly 80% of Bogotá's water. It's believed to house over 2000 plant species and is home to a large range of fauna including spectacled bears, deer, pumas, andean condors, monkeys and toucans (1). As you make your way along its trails, you are sure to feel as though you are in another world - hiking through the páramo ecosystem is a wonderfully unique and beautiful experience. Watch the clouds roll in and out, admiring the serenity of its sacred lagoons and the beauty of its hidden treasures. Journey with us as we follow the pathway to Siecha.
